Booked! My first hostel is the Sandanzas Cultural Hostel in the San Telmo Barrio, Buenos Aires. The Moon handbook described it as an arts- and activities-oriented independent hostel in a lively area. San Telmo is "a Bohemian blend of the colonial barrio, peopled with artists and musicians, plus a scattering of old-money families and event more conventillos abondoned by old money."
